Jon Macken makes first signing as Stalybridge boss
Radcliffe winger Isaac Modi has joined Stalybridge Celtic on an initial one-month loan.
The 20-year-old has five appearances to his name so far this season, having signed a contract with Radcliffe back in April, running until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Starting his career at Oldham Athletic, Modi made two senior appearances for the Latics and has also gained experience at both Curzon Ashton and Trafford.
He becomes the second Radcliffe player to have made the temporary switch to Bower Fold this month, joining talented defender Luke Partington.
“I am really excited to come to Stalybridge and help the team in any way I can," Modi said.
"I am a tricky winger who likes to go past defenders and help the team creatively.”
Modi also becomes Jon Macken's first signing at the club, with the former Witton Albion boss replacing James Kinsey last week.
Macken said: “I am thrilled to welcome Isaac to the club and extend my thanks to Radcliffe for facilitating the loan.
“Isaac is an exciting attacking player with remarkable skills in taking on defenders.
"I have been truly impressed by his athleticism, positive attitude, and direct approach when driving at opponents.
“He is a fantastic addition to our squad, bringing energy, pace, and quality that will elevate our team's performance."
