Joe Bunney finds new club
Workington have signed experienced defender Joe Bunney on a 28-day-loan.
Bunney has enjoyed a varied career in both the Football League and at non-league level. He is perhaps best-known for making over 120 appearances for Rochdale.
He was on the books of Macclesfield last season but also went out on loan to Northern Premier League sides Ashton United and Marine.
His time at the Robins was cut short at the start of February, allowing Bunney to join Marine.
He spent the remainder of the 2022/23 campaign with the Mariners, making 16 appearances in total.
He started the current season with Stalybridge Celtic but has yet to feature competitively for the Pitching In NPL West Division side.
Bunney made his Reds debut in Saturday's 4-3 defeat at Guiseley.
