Jack Dyche makes Guiseley return

Guiseley have announced the signing of Gainsborough Trinity utility player Jack Dyche.

Dyche, who is capable of playing as a full-back, winger, midfielder or striker, scored four times in 33 appearances for the Holy Blues last season.

He previously played for the Lions in 2018/19, joining the club after a one-year professional career with Scunthorpe United.

The 25-year-old started out in the Leeds United Academy, playing for their U18s side before continuing his youth career at Scunthorpe, prior to signing a profssional deal in April 2016.

His time at Scunthorpe included loan spells at Bradford Park Avenue, Ashton United and Boston United.

Following his first spell at Guiseley, Dyche enjoyed two spells at Hyde United, either side of a stint at Ossett United.

He played for Curzon Ashton, prior to joining Gainsborough for the 2022/23 season.

“I have quite a lot of experience now and I feel that I have learned something from every one of the clubs that I have played at," Dyche said on his return to Nethermoor.

"I hope to use that experience to help my team-mates at Guiseley.

“I really enjoyed my time last time I was at Guiseley, and I have known the club for a long time.

"I'm looking forward to getting started and playing in as many games as possible. We will be looking to be at the top end of the table, and with the squad the club is assembling that will not be too much of an ask.”
