Ireland youth international joins Mickleover
Mickleover have announced the signing of Gabby Adebambo following a successful trial with the club.
The 22-year-old midfielder began his professional career in Ireland with Dundalk before joining Championship outfit Stoke City in 2020.
He primarily featured for their U21 side, where he made 26 appearances in the Premier League 2, but also spent time with the first team.
In July 2023, the youngster was released by The Potters, and subsequently spent the most recent season away from football.
On returning to action with Mickleover, Adebambo said: "I spent last year out of competitive football, so it’s just
good to get back."
Mickleover manager Gareth Holmes added: "We have been wanting to sign him since pre-season, so it’s good to get this one over the line."
