Ilkeston's top scorer pens new deal
Ilkeston Town have confirmed that midfielder Jamie Walker has signed a new deal which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Walker returned to the New Manor Ground in August 2023 after a short spell with National League North side Alfreton Town.
Since then, he has made 23 appearances in all competitions for the Robins, scoring 16 goals and becoming the club’s top goal scorer.
The midfielder displayed his ability to find the back of the net during his previous stay with Ilkeston Town in 2017, where he accumulated 41 goals across two seasons to help his side achieve back-to-back promotions into the Northern Premier League.
Walker has also featured for the likes of Carlton Town, Long Eaton United, Basford United and Newark Flowserve.
