Ilkeston Town part ways with manager
Ilkeston Town manager Gary Hayward has left the club by mutual consent.
Former Buxton boss Hayward only took charge of the club at the start of August following the departure of former manager Jamie Ward, just days before the start of the new Northern Premier League season.
Upon their return to the division, the Robins have won three of their opening six matches, picking up nine points from a possible 18.
His final game in charge was a 3-0 defeat at Mickleover in FA Cup first round qualifying.
A club statement read: "Following discussions this evening between the club and Gary Hayward, we can confirm that Ilkeston Town Football Club and Gary Hayward have mutually agreed to part ways.
"We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Gary for his work, passion, and commitment since joining the Club.
"We wish Gary every success for the future."
