Ilias Labiad makes Corby Town move

Corby Town have announced the signing of Ilias Labiad.

The 28-year-old right-back has enjoyed a lengthy career in Belgium and Morocco, starting off with KSC Lokeren, featuring for the Under-21 side before stepping up in 2011 to play for the first team.

Labiad then made the trip to Morocco, joining top flight side CR Al Hoceima. From there, he joined Eendracht Aalst in Belguim, before moving back to Morocco to play for Olympique Khouribga and MAS Fes in the top flight.

He last played for Diegem Sport and linked up with the Steelmen in pre-season.

Labiad got his first goal for Corby in their final pre-season game against Eastwood CFC, and could make his official debut against Spalding United.
