Hebburn Town land new midfielder
Hebburn Town have announced the signing of experienced midfielder Chay Liddle.
The defensive midfielder joins the Hornets from Shildon, where he previously impressed under Hebburn manager Daniel Moore.
Formerly of Spennymoor and Guisborough Town, Liddle was part of the team that won the Northern League with Marske United in 2018.
He moved to Shildon the following year and appeared over 100 times at Dean Street, playing alongside five current Hebburn players.
"I'm glad to get it done," Liddle said after signing his contract.
"I'm over the moon to be back with the management team - they played a huge part in the move.
"We've already got that relationship on and off the pitch which makes it easier to settle into a new club.
"The facilities here are first class and I can't wait to get playing."
