Guiseley bolster forward line as summer recruitment continues
Guiseley have confirmed the signing of forward Will Longbottom from Bradford Park Avenue.
The 25-year-old becomes the Lions’ fourth summer signing, in a deal which sees him reunite with former Avenue manager Mark Bower.
Under Bower, Longbottom scored 11 National League North goals in 42 games during the 2022/23 season.
He also featured for Kidderminster Harriers and Gainsborough Trinity and spent time in Ireland, representing Waterford.
The new signing is looking forward to playing under former boss Bower, saying: “I enjoyed every minute under him at Avenue, so it is a privilege to play under them again here at Guiseley.
“My aim is to enjoy my football, score plenty of goals and give 100%.
“I’m really looking forward to playing for Guiseley. I have a few friends who have played here, and they all said positive things about the club.”
