Grimsby announce departure of assistant
Grimsby Borough have announced the departure of assistant coach James Swann from his position.
Swann has been involved with the club as both a player and as a coach in recent years. He was on the bench for their penultimate game at Dunston.
In a statement, the club said they hope Swann can remain at the club in another role.
“We would like to thank Swanny for all his hard work and his contribution over the many years he has been with the club and in particular to the club's recent successes,” they said.
“It is very much hoped that Swanny will remain as a highly valued key member of Grimsby Borough but in a different role as he is very much part of the fabric of our club and his experience and knowledge will remain a massive asset.”
