Grantham Town bolster backline with new defender

Bartley made 19 appearances for the United Counties League outfit after joining from Eastwood CFC in the summer.

A former Basford United youngster, he is known for his versatility and can operate in both defence and midfield.

On the signing, Grantham Town boss Paul Rawden said: “I've known of Ferdinand for a while, he fits what we're looking to add to get results and move out of the relegation places.”

He will go into contention to make his debut in the Gingerbreads' next fixture at home to AFC Rushden & Diamonds in the NPL East Division on Saturday.
