Grantham confirm loan signing of Sidney Pereira
Promising Peterborough Sports striker Sidney Pereira has completed a three-month loan move to NPL East Division side Grantham Town.
The Portuguese youngster was on the bench for the Gingerbreads’ Lincolnshire FA Senior Cup defeat to Spalding United on July 27.
The 19-year-old was named in matchday squads 21 times at Step 2 last season for Sports, making a total of eight appearances.
Grantham head coach Louis Bland said: “He’s an exciting young player, and while he’s with us we want to get the best out of him.”
On the move, Pereira said: “I’m excited to get going and do everything I can while I’m here.”
