Glossop keeper departs

Glossop North End have confirmed that goalkeeper Morgan Bacon has departed the club.

Bacon, 24, has made the decision to leave the Derbyshire based side to explore options elsewhere.

The Bury-born shot stopper came through Carlisle United’s youth setup, before having spells for Stafford Rangers and Kendall Town.

He has appeared 16 times this season for the Hillmen, keeping seven clean sheets in the process.

His next destination is yet to be determined, as he departs Glossop following four months at the club.

Glossop are currently placed 12th in the Northern Premier West Division, with a trip to Newcastle Town next on their agenda.
