Gateshead midfielder joins Workington
Workington have bolstered their ranks with the arrival of Gateshead midfielder Connor Pani on a short-term loan.
Pani signed a two-year deal with the club in July 2021 after enjoying a stint in the Gateshead academy.
His first season in professional football ended in silverware as Gateshead were crowned National League North champions in 2021/22, with Pani featuring 14 times during that campaign.
He spent time on loan at Morpeth Town and Blyth Spartans last season before returning to the Tynesiders to help preserve their National League status.
Pani will link up with Workington on loan until mid January and has already started twice for the club over the festive period, including in their impressive 4-1 victory at home to Ilkeston Town on December 23.
