Gainsborough snap up Curtis Durose
Gainsborough Trinity have announced the return of talented attacking midfielder Curtis Durose following his exit from Matlock Town.
The Holy Blues have swooped to seal the return of Durose, who scored 14 times in 49 appearances for the club during a loan move in 2022/23.
The former Rotherham United youngster also earned countless assists during his first spell at the club.
Durose went on to join National League North side Scarborough Athletic but would end last season on loan at Matlock.
He subsequently completed a permanent move to the Gladiators over the summer and went on to feature 18 times, six of which were starts.
"It has been a mad week for me personally, from leaving a club to signing back here at the Holy Blues," Durose said.
"I am buzzing to be back. After the first conversations with Russ [Wilcox], I knew I wanted to be back here at this club.
"This is a club I am drawn to from my last spell here, and I want to continue my form and pick up where I left off.
"I cannot wait to get started and kick on again."
