Full-back makes Bradford move
Bradford (Park Avenue) have announced the signing of Kareem Hassan-Smith from Albion Sports.
The 21-year-old right-back is a former Huddersfield Town and Barnsley academy player, who began his professional career on loan at Guiseley.
Following his release from the Tykes in June 2023, the youngster joined Eccleshill United, before moving to Albion Sports in the NCEL Premier Division.
On his move to the Horsfall Community Stadium for the 2024/25 campaign, Hassan-Smith said: "I'm extremely excited to be joining BPA.
"The stature of the club and the project that's being built is very impressive and I'm looking forward to participating in it and having a successful season."
Manager Danny Whittaker was pleased to secure the signature of the defender, saying: "It's fantastic to get Kareem on board. He’s a player who will offer us versatility on the right side.
"He’s got loads of energy and is aggressive in his defending. He's still young, but we’re confident the BPA environment, and the way we'll look to play, will make him an even better player going forward."
