Four new faces arrive at Consett
Consett have confirmed the signings of goalkeeper James Anderson midfielder Shay Richardson and defender Jordan Patterson and Marc Costello.
Firstly, 'keeper Anderson makes the permanent move to the club from Morpeth Town after previously spending time on loan at the Steelmen last season.
The 21-year-old made 31 appearances and kept eight clean sheets as his side finished 12th in the NPL East Division.
Richardson, 27, joins the club from Northern League side Whickham FC, where has been for the past two seasons.
The midfielder has also played for Northern Alliance outfit Wallington.
Joining him at Belle Vue Stadium for the 2024/25 campaign is Jordan Patterson.
Like Richardson, the defender makes the move to Consett from the Northern League, where he was the club captain of Seaham Red Star.
Finally, Marc Costello joins Tony Fawcett's squad for next season.
The midfielder has been plying his trade at Newton Aycliffe for the past five years and featured 45 times in all competitions for the Newtonians last season.
The experienced middleman has previously played for Hebburn Town and Washington FC.
