FC United of Manchester make further attacking reinforcements

FC United of Manchester have confirmed the addition of Jordan Preston from Bradford (Park Avenue).

The centre-forward becomes the second striker through the door in the space of a week after Lewis Rawsthorn arrived on loan from Radcliffe.

The 28-year-old Scotsman arrives at Broadhurst Park after making 42 appearances for the former NPL Premier side last season, scoring 10 goals which included a brace against FC United at the Horsfall Community Stadium.

The former Blackburn academy product has accumulated over 200 appearances in the National League and National League North at Gateshead, Halifax Town, Guiseley and Spennymoor Town.

On signing Preston, manager Niel Reynolds said: “I’m delighted that we’ve been able to attract Jordan who’s got a great track record.

"He’s a threat in and around the box and I’m really looking forward to working with him.”
