FC United of Manchester confirm three new signings

FC United of Manchester have unveiled three new additions to their squad.

Goalkeeper Conor O'Keefe, midfielder Luca Navarro and forward Gez Sithole have all made the move to Broadhurst Park, becoming manager Mark Beesley's first new signings since taking charge last month.

O'Keefe and Sithole are players well-known to Beesley, having previously worked under him at Warrington Town.

Sithole joined the Yellows over the summer, ahead of their second season in the National League North.

Having impressed as a trialist during pre-season, the 21-year-old went on to make 11 appearances, including nine starts, but failed to score a competitive goal for the club.

Goalkeeper O'Keefe joins the club from Northern Premier League neighbours Ashton United.

He made nine appearances for the Robins this season and previously spent the majority of last season at Macclesfield, prior to making the move to Hurst Cross over the summer.

Before then, the 29-year-old shot-stopper had played for several clubs in Sweden, Spain and Gibraltar.

Completing the trio of new additions is Radcliffe midfielder Navarro, who arrives on a month-long loan.

Navarro has established him as a fan favourite at the Neuven Stadium over the last two seasons but has made only a handful of appearances during the 2024/25 campaign.

All three made their FC United debuts in the Fenix Trophy on Tuesday night, with Navarro also finding himself on the scoresheet as his side ran out 5-0 winners over Prague Raptors.
