FC United of Manchester bring in National League North experience

FC United of Manchester have bolstered their backline with the signing of centre-back Declan Evans.

Evans most recently played for National League North side Southport, where he made 39 appearances and scored four goals over two seasons.

Between 2018 and 2022, he played over a century of games for Mossley, scoring 10 times during his final season with the Lilywhites.

On their newest arrival, manager Neil Reynolds said: “He brings height and power and he’s good in both boxes. I’m looking forward to working with him.”

FC United of Manchester begin their pre-season campaign on July 13 as they welcome League Two side Barrow to Broadhurst Park.
