Experienced forward joins Dunston
Dunston UTS FC have announced the signing of former South Shields and Falkirk forward Carl Finnigan.
The experienced attacker started his career playing for Jarrow FC, and has gone on to play in Scotland and Botswana.
He made his senior debut for Falkirk in 2007, scoring 25 goals for the Scottish Premier League side and has since become a household name in the Northern Premier League.
Finnigan has amassed a record of 72 goals in 115 games for the Mariners and will look to add more to his NPL tally with Dunston.
The 35-year-old has been out of action for seven months following health scares earlier this year and will look to return to his notable form once again with the Northern side.
Dunston sit eleventh in the NPL East Division, attaining seven points from their first five games and are due to play Pontefract Collieries this evening- the club have confirmed Finnigan’s availability for the game.
