Experienced forward adds to Hyde United ranks
Hyde United have completed the signing of forward Tom Walker after a successful trial period.
Walker started his career at Bolton Wanderers and made his first team debut in January 2015.
The 30-year-old has also played at Salford City, FC United of Manchester and Stockport County during his career.
Capped twice by England's 'C' team back in 2018, Walker got a second chance in the Football League with Harrogate in 2020 but only featured 12 times for the Yorkshire outfit.
Following his departure from National League North side Chorley at the end of last season, Walker has represented the Tigers in recent weeks and done enough to convince manager Michael Clegg to hand him a deal for the forthcoming season.
Walker said: "I'm delighted to get it done. I've been talking to the gaffer for the past few weeks, and I'm looking forward to getting stuck into the season now.
"I've still got a bit of life left in me, I feel. I'm at my peak and I'm ready to do well this season."
