Experienced Football League defender joins Macclesfield
Macclesfield have announced the signing of Rollin Menayese from National League side Aldershot Town.
Menayese, 27, has played over 100 times in the EFL, most notably for Grimsby Town and Walsall.
The DR Congo-born centre-back began his career in Cardiff City's youth setup, before making his senior debut for National League South outfit Weston-super-Mare in 2016 upon his release from the Bluebirds.
In 2017, he joined Bristol Rovers, going on to make his professional debut in a 5-1 victory over Wycombe Wanderers in the EFL Trophy.
During his time at the club, Menayese enjoyed loan spells at Swindon Town and Aldershot Town, but departed to Mansfield Town in 2020, where he was loaned out to Grimsby Town and Walsall.
In 2022, he made a permanent move to the Saddlers and was subsequently sent to Hartlepool United and Aldershot Town on loan, before joining the Shots on a long-term basis.
Menayese is eligible to make his debut for Macclesfield in their next fixture away at Gainsborough Trinity in the Northern Premier League on Saturday.
