Ex-Notts County youngster makes Mickleover move

Palmer, 22, began his career with the Magpies, rising through the ranks to sign a professional contract in May 2021.

While at Notts County, he enjoyed time out on loan at United Counties League outfit Melton Town, before making a short-term move to Basford United in January 2022.

The young midfielder made a permanent move to the Lions, before subsequently being sent out on loan to Loughborough Dynamo.

Palmer appeared off the bench and scored on his debut for Mickleover during their 3-1 defeat to Workington in the Northern Premier League last weekend.
