Dutchman Duku heads to Hednesford

Hednesford Town have confirmed the arrival of 31-year-old Manny Duku to Keys Park.

Duku arrives from National League side Wealdstone, where he ended the 2023/24 season with two goals in nine appearances.

He began last season in Gibraltar with Manchester 62 before moving back to England in January with Maidstone, and was part of the Stones’ famous FA Cup win over Ipswich.

The striker began his career in The Netherlands before moving to England in 2015.

His form for Hayes and Yeading earned him a transfer to League 2 side Cheltenham Town, where he made 13 appearances in the 2018/19 season.

Upon signing Duku, Hednesford manager Steve King said: “Manny is quick and a real handful for players.

“It really is a great signing for the club in keeping with the other quality players we have signed already.”
