Dunston defender suffers punctured lung

Dunston have confirmed that defender Jon Shaw suffered a punctured lung during Monday’s defeat at Consett AFC.

Shaw was replaced at half-time in their 2-1 defeat at Belle View Stadium in the Pitching In NPL East Division.

The club say he was kept in hospital overnight as a result.

Taking to social media after the incident, Shaw confirmed that he was already on the road to recovery.
