Draw made for FA Cup first round

Draw made for FA Cup first round

The three remaining Northern Premier League teams have learnt their fate, after the draw for the first round proper was made on Monday night.

Guiseley are the only representative guaranteed to feature in the next stage of the competition, after they produced an excellent performance on the road to defeat National League North side Kidderminster Harriers 1-0.

Their reward is a trip to Stevenage, who are currently 13th in League One.

Gainsborough Trinity and Step 4 Hednesford Town, the two other NPL sides in the draw, could face off against each other.

However, they will both have to travel to National League opposition on Tuesday night for fourth qualifying round replays - the former facing Boston United, and the latter taking on last season's FA Trophy winners Gateshead.

The ties involving Northern Premier League sides are listed below:

  • Hednesford Town or Gateshead vs Gainsborough Trinity or Boston United
  • Stevenage v Guiseley

First round ties will take place between November 1-4, with the winners receiving £45,000 and the losers receiving £15,000.
