Dolly Blues midfielder departs
Lancaster City have confirmed the departure of Brad Hubbold.
The 29-year-old midfielder joined the Dolly Blues at the beginning of the 2022/23 season, making 14 appearances for the Premier Division side.
In a statement released to Twitter, City manager Mark Fell said: “Brad is an excellent player, but he’s competing in a very strong midfield and it’s an area that we are over-subscribed.
“There was an approach for him at the weekend and he’s had an offer he can’t refuse.
“While we can’t guarantee anyone a place in our starting 11, we’ve agreed to release his registration so he can get back onto the pitch regularly in the league below.”
The club announced that Hubbold has accepted an offer from a West Division side, yet to be confirmed.
