Documentary released celebrating Anthony Malbon's 150th Kidsgrove Athletic goal
Kidsgrove Athletic's media team are delighted to announce a new documentary with Anthony Malbon is about to be released to celebrate his 150th goal for the club.
Malbon brought up the landmark moment in the win at Chasetown FC earlier this month and, the media team have chosen to celebrate the moment with this new video.
The man of the moment and current club captain spoke extensively to Richard Scott, from the club's media about his football career, his time at Kidsgrove Athletic and what the future holds for him.
Scott said: "I am delighted that we can release this documentary with Malbon following his landmark 150th goal for Kidsgrove Athletic.
"Anthony has always been a pleasure to work with since I first started covering the club in 2018 for Moorlands Radio before helping the club out with their media output.
"It's something that we've been planning since the early part of 2020 when he was closing in on that 150th goal and, while it took a little longer than what we would have liked because of the current situation we find ourselves in. But Malbon has finally hit the magical moment and, we could sit down and chat.
"Malbon is always a joy to interview as he gives you his honest assessment of the topic you're discussing. But this was pleasing as you scratch beneath the surface and get to learn about the person that is Anthony Malbon.
"I would like to thank the whole media team for their assistance with the production of the documentary including Harry Creasey who has put in many hours editing the documentary and making it look fantastic, Oliver Bould for his help in filming the interview. Also to Paul Griffiths, Kidsgrove's club photographer for his photos as well as Adrian Hoskin and Matty Paddock (from Kidderminster Harriers) for their photos and footage of Malbon's days with the Harriers."
