Defensive reinforcments at Shepshed Dynamo

Shepshed Dynamo have announced the signing of defender Tom Eccleshill from Belper United.

The 23-year-old left-back began his career at Mickleover, rising through the ranks of the Derbyshire-based club to make his Northern Premier League debut at 16, the youngest ever player to do so in the club's history.

He then made the move to United Counties League side Kimberley Miners Welfare, where he enjoyed three seasons before departing for Belper United at the start of the 2024/25 campaign.

Eccleshill will go into contention to make his debut for Shepshed Dynamo in their next fixture away at Sporting Khalsa in the NPL Midlands Division on Saturday.
