Coventry Sphinx secure three new signings
Coventry Sphinx have announced the signings of forward Andre Williams and defensive duo Ryley Nicholson and Patrick Zito.
Williams arrives from last season’s beaten NPL Midlands Division play-off semi-finalists Hinckley.
The 28-year-old made 78 appearances over the last two seasons since the club’s arrival in the Northern Premier League at Step 4 level, scoring 13 goals.
Also through the door at Sphinx Drive is centre-back Ryley Nicholson, who joins after spells in the Midland Leagues with Lutterworth Athletic and Coventry United.
Completing the trio of new arrivals is fellow defender Zito, who links up with John Woodward and Shaun Thomas’ side after spending last season with Quorn upon their rise to the NPL Midlands Division.
The former Aston Villa youngster featured 32 times in all competitions for the club last season, helping them to an unfancied play-off spot.
