Corby Town condemn fan behaviour

Corby Town have issued a message to supporters following a small number of incidents at their recent home game against Loughborough Dynamo.

The club say they operate ‘a zero-tolerance approach to harassment and discrimination at Steel Park’, and will continue to monitor the behaviour of fans.

The fixture against Dynamo ended in a 2-0 defeat, with the visitors securing all three points after second half goals from James Tague and Kevin Da Silva Bastos.

A club statement read: “While the overwhelming majority of supporters behaved impeccably at our last home fixture against Loughborough Dynamo, there were a small number of incidents that were deemed unacceptable.

“These isolated incidents were dealt with by the Club’s Stewarding and Safety Team. An investigation will be taking place to find any culprits and punishments will be issued in accordance with the clubs code of conduct.

“Everyone attending, working or taking part in a football match has the right to feel safe, valued and included, and the club encourages all supporters to continue to play their part.”
