Clitheroe move for Macclesfield winger
Clitheroe have announced the signing of Leon Arnasalam from Macclesfield.
Arnasalam, 24, departs the Silkmen etched into their history books as the club’s first-ever league scorer, with a goal against Burscough in July 2021.
A former Preston North End youth player, he has enjoyed spells at Marine, AFC Liverpool, Bury AFC and Lower Breck.
Alongside this, he has also represented the likes of Warrington Town, Skelmersdale United, Burscough and Mossley.
Arnasalam joins a Clitheroe side who find themselves in 6th place in the Pitching In NPL West Division, just one point adrift of the play-off spots.
He will go into contention for the Blues’ next game away at Hednesford Town.
