Clitheroe capture utility man Olawumi
Clitheroe have confirmed the arrival of 22-year-old Sam Olawumi.
The former Bolton Wanderers youth player spent time at fellow NPL West Division side Trafford during the 2022/23 season, making 11 appearances and scoring on his debut against Glossop North End.
Since then, the defensive midfielder, who can operate in other positions, has had spells at NWCFL sides Bury FC and Longridge Town.
Olawumi is Clitheroe’s sixth signing this summer, as he looks to improve a Blues side which finished two places outside of the NPL West play-offs last season.
