Cleethorpes welcome former Bradford Park Avenue forward

Cleethorpes Town have announced the signing of Brad Dockerty ahead of the 2024/25 season.

The 27-year-old was most recently at Bradford (Park Avenue) for his third spell at the club, departing in March.

He initially joined the Greens in 2019 when the club were in the National League North, before joining Alfreton Town in July 2022 after a loan spell at Pontefract Collieries.

Dockerty then returned to Bradford PA in September 2022 and has spent the past two seasons with the club.

He made over 150 appearances at Step 2 with the Greens and Reds.

On his new acquisition, Cleethorpes manager Craig Rouse said: "As a management team, we're delighted to welcome Brad to the football club.

"He's someone that has worked with myself, Strats and Joe previously, and we know exactly what we are getting in terms of his style and quality.

"Players of his calibre don't come available often and we feel his style will complement the rest of the attacking players perfectly.

"He's someone who's quick and direct and likes to stretch the game at every opportunity which will help us hugely in the way we want to play.

"He's another player that has an all-action, committed style and his approach to games will be something that gets the supporters on the edge of their seats.

"He's a player who plays his best football when he has a smile on is face and we can't wait to start working with him and preparing him for a big season ahead."
