Chasetown move for Danny Glover
Chasetown have announced the signings of Danny Glover from Hednesford Town.
Glover, 34, featured 41 times for Port Vale in the EFL, scoring four goals.
The striker has also played for the likes of Nuneaton Town, Worcester City and Hednesford Town at Step 2 of the football pyramid.
He has also played in the Northern Premier League during his time at Nantwich Town and Hednesford Town.
On his new signing, Chasetown manager Mark Swann said: "We have all known for some time that we have lacked a top centre forward.
"I have been in contact with Danny for a good while now and we have had to be patient to get our man.
"The deal almost happened previously but circumstances always meant the timing wasn’t right.
"We are chuffed to finally welcome Danny to Chasetown.
"There are not many strikers about that we could have targeted with Danny’s pedigree and character. He will fit in perfectly.
"After leaving Hednesford, Danny still has the hunger to play and will be a massive addition for the football club."
