Champion centre-back makes return to Leek Town

The 21-year-old departed last season’s NPL West Division champions for the same division’s play-off winners in the summer.

Whilst at Cables, Ndene only managed four appearances, with only two coming in the NPL’s top division.

The former Stoke City youngster was a staple of Leek’s solid defence during his sole season at the club, making 41 appearances and scoring five times in a season where the Blues conceded just 44 goals.

He arrives back at Harrison Park to feature for a Leek side who have struggled in their first season at Step 3.

They currently reside in the bottom four, having picked up just one league win at home all season. 

Ndene will be available to make his second debut for Leek on Saturday when they host Morpeth Town.
