Cables secure loan deal for Southport youngster
Prescot Cables have signed 20-year-old versatile midfielder Finlay Heath as they continue to strengthen their squad ahead of their first season back at Step 3.
Heath, who can play in defence as well as in midfield, has made 20 appearances for the Sandgrounders in the National League North, 18 of them coming in the last campaign.
He also spent a month on loan at NPL West Division side Nantwich Town last season, featuring three times.
Heath spent his youth career at the Isle of Man, and captained their national side at Under-13 level, before moving back to the UK in 2018.
He impressed in the NWCFL for AFC Liverpool, which earned him a move to Southport.
Prescot Cables begin their NPL season at home against Matlock Town on August 10.
