Bridlington bolster defence with Bowman signing
Bridlington Town have confirmed the signing of versatile wide man Matty Bowman.
The 23-year-old spent the majority of the 2023/24 season at Mickleover but made just one appearance for the club.
Prior to this, he made 14 appearances for Northern Premier League side Basford United.
Bowman, the son of former Seasiders player and manager John Bowman, spent time in the academies of Middlesbrough and Hull City, and made his senior debut for Dunfermline Athletic in Scotland.
Bowman could make his non-competitive debut for the club when Bridlington begin their pre-season schedule at home to National League North side Scarborough Athletic on July 6.
