Bootle add experienced National League defender
Bootle have announced the signing of defender Tom Hannigan from Warrington Town.
Hannigan, 36, joined the Yellows in the summer of 2022 from Altrincham, and played a pivotal role in their promotion win to the National League North the same season.
In total, the veteran defender made 99 appearances for Warrington Town, before he was subject of a seven-day approach from Bootle at the beginning of September and expressed an interest in joining, before ultimately deciding to remain with the club.
The former Fylde and Vauxhall Motors centre-back informed Warrington of his decision to take up a deal with the Bucks, enabling him to play closer to home.
Hannigan will now be reunited with former Yellows teammates Tony Thompson and Sean Williams at the Berry Street Garage Stadium.
He will go straight into contention to make his debut for Mick McGraa's side in their next game away at Clitheroe in the Northern Premier League West Division.
