Ben Tweed latest to join Dave Wild revolution at Ossett
Ossett United have signed attacking midfielder Ben Tweed following his departure from Tadcaster Albion.
Tweed previously featured for Harrogate Town but left in December 2023 following the expiry of his contract.
He came through the Harrogate ranks and earned a first professional deal with the club, going on to make his senior debut in 2021.
On the move, Tweed said: "I had a chat with Dave [Wild] on the phone and I saw that his ambitions aligned exactly the same as mine did for the season, so I thought it was the right decision for me to make the move to Ossett.
"I’m a player who wants to win, and I believe with all the players Dave has brought in, we can hopefully have a good pre-season and have a real go when the season starts.”
Ossett have already recruited heavily following the arrival of Wild as the club's new manager.
Tweed becomes the Ramicorns' seventh summer addition as they look to improve upon last season's 16th-placed finish in the NPL East Division.
