Belper tie down versatile defender to new deal
Belper Town have announced that Sidik Atcha has agreed a new deal to remain at the club until the end of the 2024/25 season.
A commanding presence at centre-back and in midfield, Atcha first joined the club from Shepshed Dynamo in November.
He has gone on to feature 15 times for the club, losing just four games during that time.
The former Harborough Town, AFC Rushden & Diamonds, St Ives Town, Soham Town Rangers and Daventry Town man opened his goal-scoring account for the Nailers on Saturday, scoring both their goals in a 2-2 draw at home to Ashington - including a 92nd minute leveller.
That result leaves Belper fourth in the Pitching In NPL East Division heading into next Saturday's trip to relegation-threatened Ossett United.
