Belper Town have announced the signings of Nathan Whitehead, Luke Rawson and Nat Crofts for the upcoming 2024/25 season.

Whitehead joins the club from Matlock Town, where he featured 24 times last season.

The experienced defensive midfielder has previously played for Spalding United, Lincoln United, Leek Town, Frickley Athletic, Loughborough Dynamo and Long Eaton United.

Striker Luke Rawson will join him at the Raygar Stadium in the upcoming campaign.

The 23-year-old forward makes the move to the Gladiators after two seasons with Stocksbridge Park Steels, where he made 86 appearances and scored 26 times in all competitions.

A former Chesterfield man, he made 11 appearances for the Spirerites across League Two and the National League.

Rawson has vast experience at Steps 3 and 4 from his time at Matlock Town, Sheffield, and Brighouse Town.

Nailers boss Lee Attenborough's latest signing is winger Nat Crofts.

Crofts, 27, also makes the move from Matlock Town, featuring 20 times for the Gladiators last season.

The electric wide player is a former Barnsley, Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United Academy player, and has enjoyed time abroad in the US with Virginia Cavaliers and Long Island Rough Riders.

He returned to the UK in 2022 and linked up with Stocksbridge Park Steels, before joining Guiseley shortly thereafter.

Crofts has also spent time on loan at Sheffield before joining Matlock Town in July 2023.
