Basile Zottos commits to Robins
Basile Zottos has extended his stay at Ilkeston Town as their preparations continue ahead of the 2023/24 season.
The Brussels-born winger first joined the club in May, having previously come through the ranks at Sheffield Wednesday.
He was subsequently released by the Owls at the end of the 2021/22 season.
Stints at Ossett United and Sheffield followed for Zottos, who will now remain with the Robins after impressing during their recent pre-season friendlies.
His deal becomes the first piece of transfer business done by manager Gary Hayward, who was recently appointed to the role following the departure of Jamie Ward.
Their return to the Northern Premier League begins with a trip to Marske United on Saturday 12 August.
