Basford bring in Butterfield to bolster midfield
Basford United have announced the signing of Kacy Butterfield, after the midfielder impressed manager Martin Carruthers during pre-season.
The Bermudan international arrives with over 70 appearances in National League North with Leamington, Kidderminster, Guiseley and, most recently, Alfreton Town, where he made 27 appearances across two seasons.
Last season, Butterfield lined up for Nuneaton Borough and Stourbridge in the Southern Premier League Central Division.
“I’m absolutely delighted to get Kacy tied down,” Carruthers said.
“He has been a pleasure to work with so far. This is a real coup for the football club and we can’t wait for the season to get started!”
