Bamber Bridge land sought-after forward
Bamber Bridge have announced the signing of Runcorn Linnets striker Olly Molloy on a 12-month deal.
Molloy joins the Brig having spent the majority of last season with NPL West Division side Linnets, where he scored 18 goals in 34 appearances.
His goals helped fire the club to last season's play-off semi-finals, where they were beaten by City of Liverpool.
Nevertheless, the performances of the in-form forward have earned him a move to Step 3 with Brig, who finished 16th in the Northern Premier League last term.
On the move, Bamber Bridge director of football Neil Crowe said: "We are delighted that Olly has agreed terms with us at Brig. He's a very sought after player and has attracted interest from a number of clubs in the closed season.
"We [Bamber Bridge coaching staff] have followed his development since his early days at Fulwood, and it's great he's now part of the Brig squad for the 24/25 season.
"It's also great news that he has agreed contract terms with us. He has signed a 12-month deal and there is the option to extend, which I think shows both the faith we have in him as a player, and also the club's intentions to move forward.
"With the moves which are being made to strengthen the squad, it should be an exciting season."
