Bamber Bridge bring in National League North reinforcements

Russ joined the Sandgrounders from Fleetwood Town over the summer, penning a two-and-a-half year deal with the National League North side.

Having come through the Leicester City academy, Russ joined Fleetwood at the age of 19.

Whilst at Fleetwood, he enjoyed short loan spells at clubs across the Northern Premier League, including FC United of Manchester, South Shields, Marine and Hyde United.

Earlier this season he made three appearances for Warrington Rylands, scoring his only goal in their 1-1 draw at Matlock Town on October 22.

Russ will be eligible to make his debut this weekend, with Bamber Bridge welcoming fellow strugglers Workington to the SFC Stadium.
