Bamber Bridge announce two more summer signings

Bamber Bridge have confirming the signing of Workington defender Finlay Wallbank and experienced Stafford Rangers midfielder Alex-Ray Harvey.

Ahead of their opening pre-season friendly against Fleetwood Town on July 6, the club have secured two more important pieces of summer business as they continue to assemble their squad.

Wallbank, 19, joined Workington last season after a six-year spell at Preston North End.

During his time with the Championship club, he was a key part of the team that reached the FA Youth Cup quarter-finals.

He made 37 appearances for Workington last term, scoring his only goal for the club in a 2-2 draw with Morpeth Town in December.

Another new face in Jamie Milligan's squad is 34-year-old Harvey, who brings to an end a five-year stay with Stafford Rangers.

Before joining Rangers, he featured for Barrow and Guiseley.

The Brig's squad has already seen major changes this summer, including the departure of captain and club stalwart Macauley Wilson, who opted to join NWCFL side Bury after six years at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium.
