Avro move for Stafford defender
Avro have announced the signing of former Stafford Rangers man Ben Woods.
The left-back had recently left the Pitching in Northern Premier Division side in search of more regular game time.
Woods has plenty of experience in the NPL, with recent clubs including Stalybridge Celtic, Flint Town and Guiseley FC.
The 26-year-old had made 23 league appearances for the Boro in at Step 3 and will provide added quality to an Avro side aiming to obtain a playoff place before the end of the season.
Avro host Chasetown on Saturday as they aim to close the five-point gap on the final playoff spot.
