Ashington announce special ticket offer for Consett clash

Ashington have announced that entry to their upcoming NPL East Division fixture against Consett will be on a 'pay what you feel at the gate' basis.
The clash has been postponed twice already due to adverse weather conditions.
It has now been rescheduled for Tuesday 3 March at Woodhorn Lane.
The club say they "want to try and give something back" to supporters through the ticket initiative.
The announcement comes just days after the club suffered an 8-0 defeat to league leaders Redcar Athletic - their heaviest loss in two decades, and heaviest at home in 33 years.
A club statement continued: "If you’re able to give, thank you. If you’re not, just come and back the lads and enjoy the game. We need you there."
Ashington currently find themselves in the NPL East Division relegation zone, with 29 points from their 28 games.
They are only below Bishop Auckland and Newton Aycliffe on goal difference, and could climb out of the bottom four on Tuesday night if pick up a positive result at home to Emley, with Newton Aycliffe also in action at home to Silsden.
Next week's opponents, Consett, are currently seventh in the table, eight points adrift of the play-offs.
Ashington say that all season ticket holders will receive a drinks token at the turnstiles to redeem at the bar, as a thank you for sticking with the club.
Sharing the news with their supporters, Consett said: "Our friends and local rivals Ashington have announced that because this fixture has had two late postponements, admission to the rearranged match next week will be on a 'pay what you want' basis.
"This is a great gesture and we hope the Conny Army will turn out in numbers."
